Each year, SBA supporters across the country volunteer to become community fundraisers, holding events in their communities to help raise money for Spina Bifida education, advocacy, research, and support. Whether you are an individual, group, school, or corporation, there are literally hundreds of ways you can help make a difference in the Spina Bifida community.
Host a party. Have a yard sale. Sell jewelry. Or hold a bowl-a-thon. You can even hold an awareness rally at school or sponsor a casual dress day at work! Our 100 Ways to Make a Difference Toolkit, which can be found under Resources after you register, is packed with tips, tools, and samples to make your event a success. It even contains 100 ideas for physical and virtual events, so take a peek inside and see what inspires you!
When you are ready to hold your event or campaign, click on Create a Page or Register. You'll be given access to your own personal webpage where you can set a goal, share your story, and collect online donations. Of course, you can collect cash and offline donations too!
So grab your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors and host an amazing event - a wine and cheese reception, craft fair, car wash, social media campaign or one of our 96 other ideas. Or better yet - create a new idea of your own!
Together, we can reach this year's fundraising goal of $50,000
