About Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida
Join the Spina Bifida Association at the 2017 Chattanooga Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida to be held at Coolidge Park - 150 River St. in Chattanooga, TN.
Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida is a family friendly, non-competitive one mile walk featuring an Interactive Festival, and Adaptive Health Fair that raises awareness about Spina Bifida and celebrates the accomplishments of the approximately 177,000 Americans living with the challenges it brings. Event proceeds support local community programs and services for all individuals affected by Spina Bifida, as well as national awareness, prevention, and research initiatives.
The name “Walk-N-Roll” was selected because it embodies a sense of inclusiveness and invokes the sense of empowerment which the Spina Bifida community embraces in all that it does. A belief in a better tomorrow is our vision and the activities that take place during these events represent the progress made towards realizing that goal.

Metered parking is available on River Street alongside the park and at the Coolidge Park lot off of River Street (located between Coolidge Park & Renaissance Park). Parking is also available at the Theater Centre lot (Tremont St. & River St.), as well as at several other lots or garages nearby. Please plan to arrive early to avoid lines, registration/check-in will close promptly at 10:15am. Please note, the venue does not allow pets on-site. While you are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, or tents to gather with your team, per park regulations, tents must be weighted down and may not be staked to the ground.
The resource fair includes a great variety of groups that provide products and services relevant to the local Spina Bifida community! We'll be joined by sponsors Cure Medical and Hollywog. We'll also have friends joining us from Chattanooga Therapeutic Rec, the Boehm Birth Defects Center, ABLE Youth, SBA of Georgia, and the Spina Bifida Clinic at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt!
After the Walk-N-Roll, we'll recognize the best team tshirt, best team poster, largest team, top fundraising team, top fundraising individual, and team who traveled the farthest. Don't forget to bring cash for the on site raffle - win items including gift cards to Rock Creek & Bass Pro Shops; tickets for a Southern Belle River Boat Twilight Cruise and a Chattanooga Lookouts Game; bowling passes to Pinstripes; Mohawk area rugs; framed sports photos, and more!
