Community Fundraising Program

Welcome!

Each year, SBA supporters across the country volunteer to become community fundraisers, holding local events or setting up online campaigns to help raise money for Spina Bifida research, advocacy, clinical care, education and support, and network building. Whether you are an individual, group, school, or corporation, there are literally hundreds of ways you can help make a difference in the Spina Bifida community. 

Host a house party or hold a yard sale. Create and sell a product. Organize a concert or a bowl-a-thon. You can even hold an awareness rally at school or sponsor a casual dress day at work! Our community fundraising tools will help make your event or campaign a success. If you're unsure about what to do, you can even access our list of 100 ideas for physical and virtual events. If you would like people to be able to make online donations directly to SBA to support your campaign or event, click Create a Page now. This feature is absolutely FREE, and it allows you to design your own personal webpage where you can set a goal, share your story, and spread the word. It's a fabulous tool to supplement any offline fundraising efforts.

Our system is also newly integrated with Facebook Fundraisers, so once you create your Donor Drive fundraising page, you'll be asked whether you want to create an identical Facebook Fundraiser. All of your text will be transferred over with the click of a button, and then people who donate through Facebook will show up on your Donor Drive page too (labeled as Facebook Donor since Facebook does not currently share donor information).
