FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How were the topics of the presentations selected?  We selected the topics of this Education Day based on conversations with adults with Spina Bifida who shared what their needs are and what they'd like to know more about. So while this day was dedicated to adults with Spina Bifida, we welcome parents who have children (of any age) with Spina Bifida to view the recordings. We believe that the topics that were covered, and the experiences and insights from the adults who took part in the day's events, can help parents and caregivers understand how to help their children prepare for their lifelong health care and self-advocacy needs.
2. Since the event was virtual, why wasn't it (and the recording) free?  Virtual events still cost money. The technology invested in presenting this event assured that attendees received high-quality content delivered in a clear, professional, and engaging manner.  The registration fee helps cover SBA's staff time, technology, and promotion.
3. Where is my recording? If you don't automatically receive a link to your recording after having "registered" or paid for the recording, please send a message to [email protected] Likely, the reason is a delay uploading the recordings to a file-transfer site, but we promise you will get the recording soon.
