What is Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida?
Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida is the SBA's largest annual fundraiser for local community programs and national research, advocacy, education, and support. This family-friendly event highlights a non-competitive one-mile walk/roll, educational resource fair, games and activities, and amazing opportunities to connect.
2020 was a special year for this decade-old program, as our events went virtual. Even in this new format, Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida rallied over 2,700 participants from across the country, raising over $390,000 collectively to support the Spina Bifida Association and our efforts to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida. In case you missed our event highlights, you can check out some of the highlights and our top fundraisers in our 2020 Year-In-Review HERE. Thank you to everyone who made Walk-N-Roll 2020 fun and successful!
Where can I find a 2021 event near me?
This year, many of our events will be celebrating VIRTUALLY on October 2 as we kick off Spina Bifida Awareness Month.
Locations participating in our virtual National Day of Walk-N-Roll on October 2 that are also identified with an asterisk (*) will also host an in-person VIP day later this fall. These VIP days are invite-only events for registered participants who have fundraised in support of Walk-N-Roll; guests can pick up incentive prizes and network in a smaller, outdoor setting (mask required).
