Bob Shields first came onto the para sports scene as an ambitious 12 year old, excited mostly about wheelchair racing and field events. Ultimately he discovered and fell in love with Para shooting events, a sport in which he excelled and achieved the highest level of skill and performance. He was on multiple Paralympic, World Championships, and other international USA teams, along with his dad, Robert Shields, as his sidekick and coach. He passed away this week due to complications associated with his disability. We honor his memory by supporting the agency that for so long helped to support our Junior sports team, the NJ Rolling Raiders, as well as affording services and education to those living with or associated with someone who is living with Spina Bifida.
